I paid 7500 for it in Kansas. Was a bit worried about the mileage but have read so many high mileage reports I just took the plunge and hope it will last me quite a while longer. Interior is 8/10, exterior 8/10, engine still as strong as new but have noticed the notorious manifold crack/ticking noise when it's warming up--hoping to get a local exhaust guy to make some headers for me. When I was a teen my parents had one of these and I totally fell in love with it. I've put about 6000 miles on it so far and haven't had any issues (haven't exactly been easy on it either...)
Hoping I can maintain it well enough to get at least to the 300,000 mile mark!

bought an 04 SR5 V6 4wd with 200,230 miles on it for $2500 but its got quite a bit of rust and had a long list of repairs that I have mostly made it through. I probably put another $1800 in parts in repairing it though. It had a lot going for it though. Runs great and has new tires on it.

2007 SR5 4wd with 174000 miles. Paid $5500 for it. Was marked at $7000 but there was a discrepancy in the car fax report (dealership that did the service forgot a 0 when entering the mileage) and the third row had been taken out by the previous (original owner) and not traded in with it. Truth be told, the guy knew jack sh*+ about 4runners and it was easy to talk him down.

June of this year, I paid $14k ($16k list) out the door for a 2006 SR5 4x4 v8 with 126k. It has leather, sun roof, 90k service. Filling up the kiddy for mods. First was weather tech throughout. I'm pleased with the front, but rear and cargo fit sucks.

In September 2013, I paid a close friend of mine $9000 for a salsa red 2005 V8 4x4 Limited with XREAS and 159k miles. It had new brakes, tires (Cooper A/T3), timing belt, serpentine belt, and water pump. It had some minor cosmetic issues (dent, scratches, scrapes) but is otherwise very clean. The vehicle has been really great so far!

I bought a 2004 4runner sport v8 66,000 miles white for 12,500. It was a one owner car, the previous owner was 64 and his wife sold it to me a week after he died at 75. Never offroad. Garage queen.

05 v8 sr5 4x4, 80k. I paid $8100 in Stockton CA. I got a 5k discount because it was blue and nobody wanted a blue one. Every other 4x4 v8 I saw was around 12k+

Funny how stupid Mexican gangs affect car sales.

Probably due to safety and vandalism in that area.

I paid 7500 for a 04 V8 with 147K three years ago. After purchase I spent 1,000 on timing belt, water pump, plugs, bushings and some other general maintenance. In the three years I have owned it, the only repairs were a rusted cooler and transmission line up front and a Gibson exhaust. It has been a strong runner pulling my trailer with two ATVs and boat without a problem.

About 4 weeks ago, I picked up an '03 SR5 V8 for $6700. Has 113k on it and needed a few little things such as a timing belt and front cv axles. It has the exhaust manifold leak and the rear brakes are sticking (front calipers were replaced earlier this year), so I'll get to those soon enough.

Bought my 2007 SR5 4X4 with new tires and 170,000 miles on it for 8300 about a month ago. It was the only 4x4 I could find for a decent price in Dallas. Has all service records on the car fax and was meticulously maintained.
