What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

2004 Sport in Stratosphere Mica. 181k miles. AZ car born and raised the original owner (an employee at Toyota) took great care of her and sold it here in AK just after driving up the Alcan. New Nitto Grapplers and a lift, courtesy of the original owner. Zero rust. Service receipts were provided. There hasn’t even been a front plate mounted as they’re not required in AZ as they are in AK. Some of the black plastic, on top of the rear bumper for instance, is sun kissed but I’ll take that over rust any day. Price tag was high at $12,500 but in AK that’s very reasonable. I don’t think I’ve seen another 4th gen in such good condition, certainly not a stratosphere mica sport. Normally I’d be planning mods at this part of the game but I think I’ll keep her OEM. The original wheels are even newer-looking. What to do with all that time now? I think I’ll work on the stereo system. Those JBL sub boxes are pricey!

2003 130k mile v8 4wd limited i bought wrecked from copart.
Not including a the aftermarket stuff I'm in it for around 7500 total, which included a timing belt change, waterpump, gaskets, plugs, etc.
So far I'm in for around 15k with all my aftermarket and iverland equipment.

2005 Limited V8 4wd 169k miles... paid $3000. Registration was $88 @ tag office. I have about another $800 in parts and repairs this includes the timing belt and waterpump that I still have to install.

I paid $11,000 for a 2008 SR5 with 127,000 miles on it in May of 2019. My truck died and I wanted a 4runner and there are not a lot of them around N.E.Ohio without rust and this one was clean. I probably paid to much but that is what happens when you are in a hurry. I plan on keeping it as long as I can and it now has 135,000 on it with no problems. I also go tall the service records for the truck from Toyota and it was well taken care of before I got it.

Paid $5000 CDN for a 03 v8 limited with only 90,000k on it (From a family friend)
Down side is that it came from out east where they salt heavily and was stored in a garage for years.
Some bad surface rust going on but all manageable .. I hope.
Paid another $6000 in repairs and upgrades throughout the year.
Next project is to replace the leaky and broken sunroof and hopefully get the frame sandblasted.
Would somebody invest another 4000 in sandblasting and epoxy coating professionally? Or just d.i.y it and wirewheel and Rattle can primer it?

Maintenance: omg how did I forget maintenance as per the CarFax was as if toyota him self maintained it!!!! Every record indicates the exact services that are needed and nice to have.
Details: 3 owner, rust free all its registered life from Georgia to Florida. 0 accidents!!!! Clean inside and out, paint is obvi crap but it’s a old sun kissed truck, seats are cloth and amazingly clean!!! Carpets are clean.
New tires, brakes, oil change and whatever the last major service that was required at 90k belts etc...
How’d I do?
