$8250 for a 2004 V6 4x4 Sport with 204k. I’ve probably dumped another 4K into parts for it.

16K for my 08 V8 Sport, with 58,000 miles. Direct from dealership where it was owned by 1 guy and serviced every 5k miles. Couldn't have lucked out more. They were not negotiating and showed me the 19 other people that expressed interest online, minutes after I secured the first hit when it went live.

I put another $6,000 in suspension wheels, tires, stereo and various other mods and $2,000 in maintenance and about $700 in refreshing all the leather replacing the seat foam with OEM replacements.

The car feels like new, but with some rough dull paint that needs to be polished. I think she lived a tough life, non garaged in the Bakersfield heat. But now I have a truck that should run another 100,000 miles with minimal cost.

Yessir 4x4. It was a true unicorn, exactly what I wanted in every way (except it was a Sport and not Limited). Previous owner parked it in the Anaheim area also seemingly ungaraged, the paint is pretty sun damaged, even micro-bubbled in areas (I made a thread on it a while back looking for advice). But all else was in great shape. Hoping to finally do some mods starting with the entire sound system, and later a lift.

Has never left Texas (ownership), 1 owner for the 1st 10 years, a musician who used it to travel to and from gigs. 2nd owner took great care of her, ex military dude, from whom I bought her after a quick drive down to Austin.

Have since installed an Icon S2 front & rear kit w/ 2.5" lift, Yokohama Geolandar 255/17s & Method 301's. Victory 4x4 Blitz front bumper ordered & otw.

I have been looking for similar deal for sometime. It has been challenging finding a 4th gen with low miles in the MD/VA/DC area.

It took me about a year of searching and being stubborn

I got lucky this spring and found a 2008 Sport V6, 88k miles, $11,500!

Gorgeous shape, cosmetically. Some rust underneath. Needed tires and the LF bearing when I got it, and some other little things. Sunroof gasket was shot due to frame corrosion, but a salvage replacement glass solved that. It didn't initially go into 4L, but I eventually got that loosened up and working fine.

Unfortunately, I have zero service history on it, so I decided to be overcautious with some preventative work. The CV boots were torn for who knows how long, and the X-REAS shocks looked a little wet. I planned to do a conservative 2"/1" lift anyway, so I decided to go big while putting in the Eibach Pro-Truck Lift System and replace both front axles, sway bar bushings, and the other hub assembly.

Topped it off with 5th gen 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium rims and Michelin Defender LTX M/S SL 265/70R-17 tires.

All this was done by local mechanics or Toyota and cost about $6,000. (Which happened to be how much cash I got for my last truck!)

The final step will be dealing with the rust before winter. But I think I need to let my wallet recover a little.

4th gen sport V8

I paid $37k with 17 miles on 2006 4 runner sport edition and now I am at 362k - all driven by me. No major work done, probably like $1k a year in replacement parts. Best decision I ever made! I still get compliments on it wherever I go.

Driven to 310K miles and crashed/totaled this week.

$11K for a 2006 Limited 4x4 with 160K miles on it in 2017.
Still going beautifully with only regular maintenance at 229K miles.
I road trip constantly!

SoCal has high prices, but now everything is sky high so it sounds like a good idea back then :noidea:

These days prices seem to be through the roof.. Just picked up a 06 SR5 126k w/lift kit wheels and tires for $14k. Living in the PNW doesn't help for pricing.

$13,000 - 2006 SR5 4.0 with 97,000 miles and perfect maintenance records. Negotiated in new tires and brakes (which it needed). Has leather and 3rd row seats. Happy with it but I think Covid/ Toyota tax added ~$3k to the price tag.
