Pulled the center console today and it ran into some cut off wheels

and ended up with this Hybrid Toyota console with a locking console from a Samurai*

Looking at it i could have used more of the original console for more of a fascia covering.

Forgot to post from awhile back. Had to replace my heater core again. Only like 5 years old. Sucks 'cause OEM is like $400 and aftermarket is $60. Apparently we know why.

Total time about 6 hrs. Here it is gutted:

And here's the cracked tube causing the vents to act like a fog machine:

Also found a couple missing fastener locations so that helped to tighten up the dash. And while I was there ran wires thru firewall just in case I want to use them later since it's such a pain sometimes. Used one wire for my clutch safety switch. Now all that's equivalent to factory since the MT swap.

My husband bought a 4Runner for his employee, who quit. So, it's sitting and I have to sell it. I don't have enough posts to list on the classifieds. Is a 1990 a second generation? How do I tell if it is a FS or FT?

It sounds like a great benefits package. So you're hiring? :tongue: Not sure what FS or FT are, I have a '90 as well, looked it up and couldn't find anything about these options.

I found out FS is For Sale and FT is For Trade. I feel stupid!

Put this thing together the other night, getting ready for great adventures!

I may look more into this thread to clean up the inline fuse.

Otherwise, super clean install, great help from Leroy himself. I totally recommend picking this up if youre considering an ARB Compressor!

Just bought a 1994 4Runner (my first 4Runner)

Hey there,

I added some "SeaFoam" to the fuel, drained and flushed the radiator, put a new battery in, and changed the radiator cap. I also polished some surface rust off the front bumper.

I am also looking for a 1994 owners manual.

I got my first 1994 4runner, and don't know how to operate the cruise control, what the flashing red light on the dash is, how many quarts of anti-freeze in the cooling system, and a few others.

I already have a FSM.

Dug through a junk yard and found a aftermarket cat back from a 93 so ripped that off took it to the muffler shop and had it welded and replaced manifold gasket and replaced flanges to a straight welded pipe for $50

Finally got the cruise control working. Hunted down the T-100 throttle cable, which then allowed old CC unit to operate the 3.4 Engine. Small improvement, but it was a dilemma since I did the engine swap 6 years ago. Almost as awesome as when I got the A/C working.

I put a new exhaust on the other day, but the fitment is poor at best. Trying to get my post count up so I can start a pic request thread to see if I can figure out how it's supposed to look.

Santa came early!

Front 1.5" ball joint spacers, rear 2" coil spacers, panhard bar drop, and rear driveshaft spacer. Whew! I think that and front axle boots will cover the lift & level package.

Replaced the rear brake shoes. I'd forgotten what a PITA drum brakes are. I will be doing a disc conversion before tackle drum brakes again. :bounce:

Yesterday I adjusted my AFM. The 3vze is a lazy dog. Trying to wake her up a little. So current mods
