What did you drive before your 4Runner

First car bought it at 15 was a 1988 monte carlo ss.. didnt run when I bought it. Learned how to fix cars with it. did some bolt on mods. Blew the transmission on it when I was 19 and sold it when I was 20.

Second car was a 1996 Impala SS I bought at 19 while the monte was with a dead transmission. Had 57k when I bought it bone stock and in mint condition. Did some bolt ons to it. Had that car until I was 25. Sold it 2 years ago with 100k miles for more than I paid for it and bought the 4runner.

I never really sat and listed them but damn. DMV made alot of money from me for vehicle fees.

O.. bmw x5 also.. When I had the 3rd gen.. Makes the 3rd gen feel so underpowered. Its why I got the v8. The x5 was a scary power beast. Not knowing when something would fail..

When I sold her last December, she had ~280,000 miles on the clock. Still ran great. Got full asking price for her, too. Such a great truck!

The 4Runner has been a move up, for sure, but it'll never replace my first Toyota. May she live long, and may her new owner continue using synthetic lubricants and premium fuel... ray:

Drove a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport 2DR 4x4. Got the car in 2002 with 70,000 miles and sold the car for about $1300 with 289,000 miles on it. When it finally went the transmission, engine and transfer were all in great working order. However all of the little parts were breaking down and became too costly to maintain.

Was a great car back then but it compared to my 08 4Runner UrbanRunner, can't say how much I love my 4Runner now

1995 Eclipse with weak 2.0, but then when your first car is a manual you learn to drive the right way
1993 Eagle Talon TSI AWD with 2.0 turbo which I modded to hell
1995 Camry 2.4 beater, support car for the above which spent a lot of time in pieces all over the place
2003 BMW 530i auto, great sedan but holy hell everything broke between 70-80K miles
2013 Mustang GT Track Pack (manual of course), fun as hell but unsustainable as sole daily driver (I DID drive it in snowstorms, with snow tires it was bearable...).
2001 Blazer 2-door, was supposed to be winter beater for the Mustang but it was an impulse buy and needed way too much work to keep running so I junked it

I have owed many different vehicles over the years, but the last two were Suburbans, still have the last one which is one of the best trucks I have owned it has 240,000 miles on it and still runs like new but it doesn't get driven much since I purchased the T4R which it seems is going to take over first place as the best!!

2003 Dodge Durango. Biggest POS I've ever owned. Ended up selling it to someone out of state for barely anything because it wouldn't pass smog and I was tired of dumping money into it. I think it averaged like 10 miles to the gallon.
