The only car I hated was the Grand Cherokee as it was riddled with electrical gremlins (Bad era for Chrysler) and their shoddy soldering).

First car was a 1988 Nissan Maxima gifted to me when I graduated high school in 2002.

It died a few years later so my dad and I went to a police auction and bought a 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. That was a fun land-yacht of a car. Then the alternator needed to be replaced. Then the passenger outer door handle broke off. Then the air ride suspension failed and the exhaust tips would scrape when going over the slightest bump. Finally, the cooling system failed and that was it for me.

I bought a brand new 2006 Vespa GTS 250 and rode that for four years.
Then I bought a 2000 Triumph Speed Triple 955i from a friend and rode that for 5 years.
Then I bought a brand new 2015 Triumph Street Triple 675R, crashed it in 2016 which put me out of commission for 6 months. Got it repaired while I was unable to ride, got back on literally the same day my doctor cleared me and I'm still riding that today.

Several years ago my dad gave me his 4Runner after he retired. I mostly ride my bike, but I drive my 4Runner a couple times a week.

I came from a Subaru Outback (2021). Loved the car but, because of a lifestyle change, I wanted more capability for towing a wheeling. Plus the used car market meant I could get the OTD price I paid for the Subie after 8 months and 12.5k miles. Love my 08 V8 4WD Limited.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. A real pile. First car and treated me well enough for what it was. safe to say I will never be owning another Chrysler product after experiencing true 4x4 quality in my 4R!

The Datsun was alright but was rusting from the inside out. The Volvo 740 was what I finished high school in, which had a decent system.
The Mustang I bought after high school and still have.
The rest were brief replacement replacements when I was working on the mustang. The Lexus was the last car before I jumped into the 4Runner. I still own it, but needing some work. Saving it for a backup car for my daughter.

2003 Mazda Protege5 (custom turbo build - first car to get heavily modified)
2004 Subaru STI (the only car I regret selling)
2006 Subaru Legacy Spec-B (basically a Legacy but with STI engine/trans)
2007 Mini Cooper S (really fun to drive but might as well be on motorcycle since nobody ever sees you)

and finally, the reason I'm on this forum, my beloved 2009 4Runner Limited V8.

Most recently is a 2003 Audi A4 avant and a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE. Sold both when the girlfriend moved into my apartment (With her '04 RX330) that only had 2 parking stalls, and bought my '03! I've had too many cars to count in the past, but the 4runner has got to be in the top 3 for favorites (among a 996 911 C2S and My old 180SX)

my first car was a 2006 4runner (sadly the insurance said it was totaled after a mild accident because of a some bent framing issues between the drivers side doors). my replacement car is a 2004 4runner. I have driven other vehicles, but I think I will only ever own toyotas
