I dig the grill, snorkel, wheels....hate the truck bed on the back...though that is a good piece of craftsmanship

Agreed the work is well done. It makes me think of the Subaru Baja, does anyone remember those? Which to be honest, I didn't like way back then.

Cool find though.

It's the cursed 4Runner. Brought up every couple of weeks just as I think the thread is going to die but it reemerges. Lurking around the paroles of Ebay trying to find its next victim. Evidence of an Extremist MOD enthusiast who now can only afford the 4 of the 4Runner because they spent too much of their life savings to turn their 4runner into a lifted Avalanche. Poor guy.

My .02...
The owner is on Ih8mud.com, he has this and a few Land Cruisers. He is moving to the Phillipenes(?) this year and is liquidating his trucks. Alan Povdin(sp) did the work on this, he has also done similar work to 80 series and 100 series Land Cruisers. It is an interesting build, just not what I would want. It's nice and clean. Anyway, back to your opinions...

If I was into serious offroading, that would be superb, what with the rear bed access. I like it for what it's built for.

I think it might look nice with the rear windshield of a 2-door blazer, with all that rake. The only vehicle that I find looks better after giving it a truck bed are cherokee sports, but that's definitely a unique and cool rig.
