What do you do with parts you can't sell?

Hey all.

I recently (after a six month wait) received and installed my SSO sliders. Now the Predator step bars that came with my vehicle (2019 ORP) are sitting in my garage taking up space. I've listed them for sale on Facebook marketplace but no takers at $300.

So my question is, what do you do with your old stuff you can't sell? Do you just take it to the scrap man? Hold onto it until you find someone to take it off your hands?

They are worth what someone wants to pay. For me, giving away is cathartic.

Conversely, people think their shit is worth more than it is. I’ve all but given up on finding used stuff near me. They are usually listed for 90-125% of the new price

Only a few options selling stuff.

1- Put the price you want to sell it for on the platform you like using and wait indefinitely till you get that one person who is willing to pay what you want.

2- Put up a giveaway price (less than 25% MSRP) and it will move.

3- Save it and repurpose it or sell/give to some one when the time comes.

I have 4 OEM rims that were never used, i would sell them but decided to just keep them. Maybe some day ill need them or want to swap them.

I sell a lot of my stuff on Ebay auction. Have a very low auction starting price and someone will be sure to bid on it. Then others will bid it up to what is probably the best price you will get. It is sure to sell that way.

i lucked out on selling the stock wheels. I think they sold around $400 , I'm limited on space . Only parts I have are the original air take and radio, i could probably scrap the intake.
