old guy who owns it rear ended another vehicle. I couldnt see any frame damage and owner gaurentees there is none. Its been maintained
pretty well as well. rear wiper is missing.

Will they let you test drive it around?

My recommendation is to stay away from vehicles that have been damaged, even if they have it repaired.
 
All the body panels have VIN numbers if original. for the fenders they are under the hood along the top edge of the fender where it bolts to the vehicle. Look to see what was replaced if it was just the bumper cover no big deal. If it was bumper cover, hood, and both fenders then you would want to really check the work or simply move on to another vehicle. Did the Air-bags deploy??
 
V6 or v8???????? And I agree with the post above mine here... Damaged, that's pretty steep ... Motor type is important as far as spark plugs go, and timing belt and timing chain!!! So please clarify motor!
 
Probably a v6 based on the lack of front v8 badge...I think a good majority of v8 owners keep that badge on.

Either way, I'd try and find a non-accident vehicle unless you're in love with this one for some good reason.
 
Just don't buy any 4runners from these guys...

see not i disagree with buying accident free somewhat. My truck has been in 2 good crashes both front end head on crashes about 6 grand worth the damage and mine is just find. With technology today they pretty much repair the car as best they can as it was from the factory as the insurance companies require it. Just my two cents and unless some one can provide a very convincing experience it shouldn't matter if it runs like it should.

the v6 is a bullet proof engine thats all that matters to me the body could fall off for all i care as long at the radio heat and a/c work I'm happy
 
That's fine, but if I'm not mistaken you did the crashing lol ... He has an opportunity to skip out on the crashing lol... Thus why I think he should pass!

And I agree v6 or v8 is a fantastic motor! Just thought if it was a v8 needed to know about the timing belt/water pump! I think v6 at 130k is plugs ... Right?
 
Ive convinced myself

to wait. Looks like the front end was replaced as a result of the wreck which could mean premature wearing of suspension and drive train bits that are a little bit offset as a result of the wreck.

Ive been carless for nearly 2 months already..whats another 2 months gonna matter anyway. I already bought the lift
