What do you guys think of this 1995 4Runner Craigslist?

This 1995 looks pretty clean. It's only about 15 miles from me. Not a lot of details but looks like a private owner. I'm really not looking for a second car, but this seems like a good deal. Going to try to take a look at it soon.

The guy gives almost no information on it. I'd email him first and find the miles at least.

Thanks for the reply. Did that and also asked for some pictures of the rest of the body and undercarriage. I guess we'll see.

From the pictures in the ad it looks clean, but you will have to wait and see as you stated. For the price it looks to good to be true; I am not sure what the market is like in Illinois, but in California that is a steal.

That's a pretty good price for Illinois also. But there is the major uncertainty of undercarriage and frame rust coming from the hell of salted Illinois roads . I'll follow up when I hear back from the seller.

I have a feeling that your response will include the words "Africa" and "PayPal".

Especially if you had to email and there wasn't a phone number listed. Usually the only people that do "email only" are in their 80s or a scammer.

Ha! You're probably right. If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true. So far though no response at all.

Update: there is no update to report. No reply in 3 days. I guess it's either sold, scam or spam.

I must be a scammer then LOL. I just hate wasting my time with a 5-10 min phone call only to have the guy offer half of what I have it listed for. So much easier to sort out all the low-ballers via email, 5 seconds and deleted!
