What do you plan to do with your tax returns?

Interest what's that? Last time I looked at the rate my bank was paying on their savings accounts it was .01 percent. It's almost a joke to even call that an interest rate.

It's scary that some people think the only place your money can earn interest is in a savings account.

Just because I made a remark to the poor rates banks are paying on their savings accounts does not mean I think this is the only vehicle for investment. I was simple pointing out that my bank calls .01% an interest rate and that I find this funny. :lmao:

Money in the bank! Gotta save more money because I think the economy might go into a double-dip recession. Too many indicators pointing in that direction to ignore. If the Federal Reserve keeps printing money, we're all screwed.

Plus how are you getting 3-5k back? It's always better to pay a little extra at the end instead of getting a huge check back, that's money you could have been investing.

as i stated before, most of it is from mileage, since i use my runner for work.

A lot in store for our tax money.

Our bed sucks, so we're getting new bed frame/mattress, and new dressers.
We need a lot of stuff for the new baby that's on the way...
We're taking a trip to Georgia.

Then on the Runner I'm having the complete timing belt/water pump job done (seals, pulleys..everything). I'm also having some PP springs and new shocks/struts installed on the 4Runner. I'd like to get the engine machine cleaned, or new carpet in the 4Runner, but I'm not sure we'll have enough left to do that.

There's some other odds & ends we're getting as well.

We're also getting student loan money the same day..and we're getting the wife a 4Runner with that.

Me and the wife willbe getting back a couple thousand but most of it is for our trip to Florida in April but I did earmark some for my 4Runner since it needs a couple of fix-its like a new headlamp and a new set of OEM fogs.
