What do you think about this brake part order?

Here's what I'm planning on ordering for a full brake job on my rig. I've browsed a few threads and it seems like most of you guys like ebc. What do you think of this order?

I would stick with plain rotors if possible, and if its cheaper! I don't personally have any experience with ebc pads but I've heard they are awesome.

Also, my two cents here, but I know our callipers are prone to sticking and failure. Why not pay 850$ for OEM 5th gen rotors, callipers and pads? should last longer!

Thanks for the reply. Do you know where to get a complete 5th gen brake package with rotors, callipers and pads in canada? I see you're from the 6.

I went with 5th gen parts for my 05. I bought centric calipers, slotted/drilled rotors, and oem pads, ss lines and that has some nice bite to it. If I want to stop, I am stopping.

I guess it depends on where you live. I have never had caliper issues. However, each and every service I blow out my rotors, calipers and use brake kleen to clean the piston boots ect. I have found that our rear rotors do not vent well at all which is a leading contributor to rear rotor warpage. Not only that, but the rear rotors also collect a ton of dirt in the veins. This again is from their inability to vent properly. So, during each service, I use my compressor to blow out the rear rotors. I took the front dust shields off some time ago, and my front brake temps have come down because of this.
I personally use slotted rotors made by Power Slot, which is now owned by Centric. I only use Hawk HPS brake pads. Dimpled and slotted rotors could potentially reduce friction surface thus potentially reducing braking performance under hard conditions, i.e. fast driving, fast off road driving, and towing. For normal use, you might not notice a difference. I have heard alot about these ebc pads, but have no real world experience with them, so I cant comment. But, I can say, I have been using the brake combo I mentioned for well over twenty years and swear by it. Its on my SRT8 Charger, My Ford pre-runner off road truck and of course on my T4. Just my .02. When I sell brake jobs to my customers, I give them all options. Not everyone needs something as solid and consistent as the package I run. I sell only what each individual customer needs based on his or her needs.

how bad do you want to stop? the yellow series is more harder, but all ebc pad dust alot, i tried the 6000s, they were a good upgrade, then the yellow, major difference, but even more dustier wheels, next i gave all at up and do hawk lts pads, better to me.

What's the best place to get these from? Toyota dealer? Some other place?
