What do you think about this deal

I just ordered my 06 v8 SR5 in black with third row, 17's, etc.... The only option that I didn't get that I have on my 04 is the moonroof and we would rather have the third row now. I have a buyer for 27,000 for my 04, and I'm only giving 33,100 out the door, financing and all for the v8 SR5. Didn't get Nav, you can't order it through the military affiliated oversea's dealership.

Pretty much everything else though. Here's the bad part, I ordered it but it's not due in till Christmas. I put my money down tomorrow, and then they are giving me a rental Audi A3 to drive until the new runner comes in. I can still back out if say, my buyer for my 04 backs out, but we'll see.

Let me know what you think, we were going to get the Gallactic grey but then we checked out the black online and it looked pretty sick. How bad does it show the scratches, do you get bad swirl marks on it?

I've never owned a black car before.

Seems like a lot of money for an SR5. Do you have to have the 3rd row seats, adults can NOT fit in them.

Let me clarify

It's Sr5 4x4 v8 w/ everything including the JBL synthesis, but moonroof and Nav. are the only two i didn't get. I don't want Xreas as I'm going to lift it soon. I priced it out at MSRP online and it was like 37,000 w/ all my options.

I paid 28 for mine current one in 2004, I do want the third row, I have two kids now and travel with children alot, I'm a soccer coach on the side, as well as b-ball. I'm getting this at cost, and with no taxes due to being a military sale.

Should I try to get the shadow grey, or go with gallactic grey, or stick to Black. I'll need to decide tomorrow.

I'm getting everything I wnat on this one, I would buy the sport but I want the third row.

Now that you know how much I'm getting, do you still think it a bad deal? I think it's right on, my dealer is only making 400 off of it. We worked the numbers for a while then I checked on Edmunds and Carpoint and found the MSRP and invoice prices for everything, can't expect to get it much cheaper when your ordering to your own spec's.

Color choices for your 06

This is just my opinion...

Black - Looks great.... when it's clean. If you don't keep it waxed and in good shape, swirls are highly probable.

Shadow Mica - Saw it at the dealership. Liked the dark color, but too much "sparkle" in the paint. Looks very metallic, too much for my taste.

Galactic Grey - This is the color of choice that I have admired since 05. It has a pearlescent hue to it, giving it a little blue with the grey depending on the light. At night, it looks like a darker gray, which is cool. Probably the easiest to keep looking clean. If you check other threads on this forum, most people really like it.

I have to agree with Koz in that the price seems a little high for an SR5. I was able to get my 03 4X4 V8 Sport for $34,000 with everything except the upgraded stereo. You are getting a nice price for your 04 SR5 though so that is something to consider. Have you priced a Limited with 3rd row seats?

dam both those prces sound high, i just bought my 04 with 3rd row seats and a bunch of other options like the 17 in wheels and other stuff for 24 out the door from a dealer. The car doesnt have one scratch on it. It looks and smells brand new only 16000 miles.
Id say sell the 04 for 27 and then look somewhere else for the 06

WOW.. That sounds like a smoking deal to me.. A MSRP of 37k and you paid 33.1k out the door with tax of a couple thousand. Did you buy this for a couple thousand less than invoice. Please more specifics! I'm pricing the same package.

Bought it.

I paid 32,100 out the door for everything, bad part is it won't be here till January. I'm selling my White 04 in about a month for alot. I'll be putting around 13,000 down on this one. Should be a smoking deal.

We looked and looked and decided that we liked the 06 most in Silver, so we ordered the Titanium one. Soon I'll have projector's, and an 06. I already have a Xenon kit here for my bike, I think I'll save it and put it on my 06 instead

For the record, I only paid 28 for my 04, the MSRP's and cost to the dealers is more, it's also a special order to my spec's so I'm happy. Got everything, with the exception of Moonroof, and Nav. I'm happy, thanks for the opinions.
