I would say they are an aggressive all terrain.

Agressive all terrain. They aren't MT's. I was very surprised by how thready they are though when I got mine

Congrats!! these are great tires, have them on my 4runner, low roadroar, an aggressive tread!

good to hear on road noise i was concerned when i saw them

better just to clean everything takes about 5 mins, and maybe put some seafoam in the the oil right before you next oil change, buy some chevron fuel system cleaner dump it in the tank with your about half full, and after to top it off, disconnect the battery to reset the ecu just to make sure everything is reset. 13-16 city and 18-20 hwy should be your mpg, im running 32s right now if i really watch myself i can get 21 on the freeway easy but i dont lol oh yeah seafoam through pcv valve tube to clean the valves if you havent done it.

why not through the pcv valve? i think i did already. ill try that stuff too though. dump it in the oil and drive a little prior? or dump it in idle and then change it?

Have yet to test them out on the beach. Will be going to the dunes in a few weeks here and I'll know then! haha sorry can't help you out yet

I'm running D-range 285/75/16s and still averaging over 16 MPG. And that's not adjusting for the odometer discrepancy that the 285s cause.

12-13 MPG is crazy.

I've got 265/75-16's and average 18mpg driving 100%city!
The worst it's been is 14.5 nearly the entire tank in 4wd.

If you seafoam through break booster it only goes in to one cylinder, drive a little when you put it in the oil

Great tires!!! I love 'em on my '01. Just one thing I'd like to mention: 12mpg should be the least of your worries because what they don't tell you at the tire shop is that overweight women positively LOVE these tires.. you can't keep them away! :moon:

Better keep that PA handy.

I didn't know that! Interesting. I'll throw some in maybe 50 miles before I change my oil. Hopefully that helps a bit. Does it smoke like running it through the brake booster?
