Haha I get 14.5 mixed right now, mostly highway, my luck sucks. I did plugs/wires/oil/seafoam/maf clean and set my tire pressure to 32 and it didnt help

Have you pulled your throttle body off to give it a good cleaning? Pull the IAC and free the valve while you're at it cause I bet its sticky, too.

I went from D load rated Nittos to the C load rated Duratracs and my MPGs didn't change at much at all. I normally get 14.8 -16mpg in the winter (I'm also a bit of a leadfoot) and 16.5 -17.8 in the warmer months.

The PCV valve dumps a bunch of crap into the throttle body and it gets down into the IAC and gums it up sometimes. Yours may be clean but its an easy PM to perform and if it is dirty you should pick up some MPGs cleaning it. I usually clean my TB/IAC once a year...

And I get about 16.5mpg on 285s mounted on black steelies

Hahah yeah I think so... I just put 285/75/16's + 3'' lift on last week on top of already having a rack w/ lights, ladder, etc. and I'm still averaging 13.5-14mpg and I'm much heavier. I plan on doing all I can to get a boost in MPG's once warm weather comes around (Thorough cleaning).

2nd this. That's what I did.

Also, make sure you're up to date on maintenance if your mpg's are concerning you- spark plugs, MAF & Throttle Body cleaning, Air Filter, etc. You'd be surprised how much these can make a difference

better just to clean everything takes about 5 mins, and maybe put some seafoam in the the oil right before you next oil change, buy some chevron fuel system cleaner dump it in the tank with your about half full, and after to top it off, disconnect the battery to reset the ecu just to make sure everything is reset. 13-16 city and 18-20 hwy should be your mpg, im running 32s right now if i really watch myself i can get 21 on the freeway easy but i dont lol oh yeah seafoam through pcv valve tube to clean the valves if you havent done it.
