I searched, but couldn't find anything.

just in front of the passenger tire, behind the bumper cover.
right next to the windshield washer reservoir. you can actually see it through the vents in front of the tire.

there are a couple mount brackets, and an unused plug. im just curious what is supposed to go there, if anything.

I took a couple cell pics if that helps..

the brackets,

still haven't figured out what that plug is for, I actually stopped looking lol.

its not super important, I just saw it hanging there and was curious about it. thought someone here might know.

That's where you plug in the Super hydroxyl mechanism that's part of the stitman control system. Optional on 03 to 05 4 runners standard on 06 to 09 SR+ltd edition. Very very rare, like big foot rare, like a 72oz Pittsburgh steak rare.

I found the same harnesses on mine on both sides when I was blacking out my headlights... I thought about asking but then I realized I didn't care and if they were anything special there would already be a thread about it.

There are two connectors like that and they plug into the bottom of your windshield washer reservoir tank. It must have slipped out. The easiest way to access it is to take off your front passenger tire and wheel liner. From there it will be cake to plug it back in. You can also try from underneath, but I believe it is a little difficult to get to.

I had to take the entire reservoir system out last weekend when I installed my body lift.

jesus, has it been 2 years already?

I didn't see anything for it to plug into, and as far as I knew at the time, everything worked.

though, I did just find this,

apparently some models came with a level indicator light, mostly the Canadian rigs. though, they were all wired for it. I expect that is what the plug is for, as I have ran the washer fluid down, and yet no light came on.
