What happend to yotatech.com?

Pardon me for inquiring about another site, but what happened to yotatech? I went there today and got a screen that read: "This domain has just been registered for one of our customers!" Did I miss something? Anybody else post there?

Don't know, just got the same error message. The site was down for a day last week, may be its related.

my guess from the error message is a cybersquatter bought the domian name because it was expiring. they're probably trying to extort money out of the yotatech admins to get it back. just a guess.

if anyone knows the ip of yotatech, please post it here and we can just go directly to the ip rather then using the name.

to me yotatech.com resolves as: 82.165.233.29

if you have the tools, can you check what yotatech resolves as for you, or if not, can you just type 82.165.233.29 into your browser and see if it goes to yotatech's website?

I get the same error message no matter now. Maybe someone is squatting. It happened after 10pm last night EST and 8am EST this morning since I was able to access the site at 10 last night.

When I go to that IP, then I get the website you go to. I can then type in yotatech.com and it takes me to the message board.

But, when I NSLOOKUP the IP Given I get this:

Now you plug the daniel.digitalcrowd.com into a browser and you get the squatter site.

my guess is my DNS hasn't been updated so i still point to the squatter's site. too bad i don't have control over how often my DNS at work is updated.

Depending on who you are dns'ing off of .... full propagation of a new DNS entry can take as long as 48 hours. To be safe, you can just set your DNS to 4.2.2.2 (which is usually one of the quickest to get updates...)

In my favorites I put the forum for 4Runners in the Yotatech site. I just checked it, it seems to be OK.
