What happened to my 4x4 shift knob?

Noticed the other day that the pattern was upside down. Tried turning the knob but it didnt move, i didnt want to break it. Anyone have an idea?

Have tried removing the cap and reversing it?

Maybe the coors light can has something to do with this

It should twist off with some effort (counter clockwise I believe)
And you can adjust the nut that it tightens against and tighten it back down again

It just twist off. No cap no nut. It uses plastic threads so you crank down till it’s just right and you leave it alone. Mine moves after a few shifts when I’m wheeling

I replaced mine, and I just looked at the original piece, I confirm- plastic threads and no nut.

Just twist it back.

mine used to move a bit but i forced one more turn and it hasn't moved again
