Oh the horror that is a broken CV axle. Time to save up for beefier axle, front lockers and 35's. I'm tackling this trail again dang it!

I posted pics in the So Cal BS thread. Rear gears are completely toast. I can't get my transfer case to switch out of 4wd without it grinding like crazy, but I did get the transmission to engage in reverse last night. If I try to go into drive it grinds because rig is still trying to jump out of 4wd. Won't know for sure on the front diff and transmission until I get the driveshaft back in to keep the tail shaft from spinning and get it out of 4wd.

I'm still waiting to see pics of me getting friendly with that wall.

Oh, and I called Bud (of BudBuilt) who said he's never heard of someone having their diff skid ripped off before... So, that's cool I guess.

Anyways, I had a blast. Definitely looking forward to 35's and a front locker. Likely will be another year until that's in the budget though...
