Today I was trying to to pull some codes from my 89 4runner using a paperclip. Apparently I did something wrong because now my truck won't start. I put it into accessories and the engine light doesn't come on now. I try to crank it and it wants to turn over but nothing happens. Any ideas on what I did to my truck to cause this and how I can fix it?

Check your fuses, in the engine compartment and the dash. Sounds like you stabbed the wrong pin and shorted something to ground.

Checked out the fuses and they're all fine. I'm stumped. Figures I screw up the, seemingly, simplest task and now my truck won't start... Anyone else have any ideas?

If no fuses blown the ECU might need resetting. Have you tried the old "disconnect the batteries overnight to discharge power from ECU" trick ?

Just disconnect the battery and pump the brakes until they no longer light up. It sounds to me like your efi fuse is blown though. Or the "eng" one I think it's called.

There is also a green one under the hood that I have blown before (green box type)... Similar problems.
