What heavy duty battery?

I've always used Optimas in the past, got 7 and 9 years out of the last two. One yellow and one red top. However reading reviews on amazon, who happens to have the cheaper price I've found for a yellow top group 35 it seems many folks are only getting 2-4 years and a lot of them are crapping the bed in less than a year. Some even weeks/months. I've also read much of the same talk on other forums. So what would you guys recommend if this seems to be the new normal for Optima?

ive been very happy with my blue top optima's.
reviews aside, they work well.

I would check out Odyssey batteries. Optimas quality hase gone down since moving to Mexico.
