What HID to get?

I would like to get some HID but I'm not sure of the color and quality I can get. I also would like to know how to check if they have hi and low beams.
I looked at burtman's but they are a little pricey, even if they look like very good quality... just like every thing else on their site.

That's a good option but I don't think they would look good in a 96 Runner and even if I do this, I still need some HID's. Right?
 
You SHOULD retrofit the projectors, then add the HID's hids are very wide spread and out of control if you dont put projestors in. They are what make the HID's really work. I got projectors in first I plan to get HID's in the future, but I got the projectoer part over with

everyone knocks on the p'n'p kits, but I love them. Never been flashed by oncoming traffic, never been pulled over, and I can see absolutely EVERYTHING. Go with the p'n'p, its a 12 minute upgrade to the lights you have now. MAYBE not as good as projectors, but it is definately an upgrade.

Wow, that's the look I want at the price I want!!

I was pretty sure I needed some H3's, they don't seems to have them.
 
12k!!

You dont think the 12k are toooooo bright? the highest I would go is 8k..

Actually as far as HID's go after about 6k they don't get brighter the colorchanges but brightness doesn't. I have a chart somewhere from when I was doing the research I'll look for it

and Charlee78: After using the SEARCH feature I found a few other threads on HIDs that answered your question, plus a few that may interest you.

Search feature shocks me with answers to questions everytime i use it.

wow, thanks for all the inputs guys. If I do something, it will be the pnp kit with the shield to prevent the light from going everywhere. Thanks for all your answers.

Those shields are a joke, they are tiny. You need a real casper shield to reduce glare, like what the acuras use: LINK
