I sort of did just that about 4 years ago. I worked a 12 graveyard shift, drove to a town about 3 hours away, had a few beers at a local brewery, then went to the ford lot and purchased a new ecoboost f150. Yeah, I wasn't in my right mind. I actually got a good deal on it and I did like it but I still regretted it. It didn't take long for the typical ford reliability to shine through. By 45k the engine was knocking and half the electronics didn't work so I traded it in for my 5th gen.

My elbow and head would hurt. The elbow from the way the doors are designed, with the latch part sticking out, and the head from the speakers in the roll bar.

I just rented a Rubicon Unlimited for three weeks. It went anywhere but it was loud and uncomfortable. The ergonomics are so bad the Wrangler almost seems like it was designed in the 1930's. :gossip:

I'd be OK with it, as it would only be temporary until the new 4Runners come out... and my trusty 3rd gen is long in the tooth and not really a fun ride anymore.

This. All day. While I love the way Jeeps look, after spending an hour or so in a buddy's Unlimited, I hated it. The seating position just felt...awkward. Not well put-together. Cheap-feeling.
