What is a good BB handgun?

I don't want anything big but just like a real handgun that will shoot metal pellets. I need to shoot these pigeons that crap infront of my house.

Crosman would be recommendation. Although a .22 has a lot more practical applications than a bb/pellet gun. You can get bird shot for .22s as well. It works great for blasting pigeons

Well, i don't want blood splattered all over my driveway, porch, front windows, and awnings. LOL! My neighbors might think i just blasted my puppies. haha... Also, can you eat pigeons? Do they taste like chicken?

.22 cal birdshot wouldn't leave any blood splattering. A .22 bullet might, but the bird shot will just be lots of little pellets. In fact, it's pretty weak for shooting pigeons. I've had them fly off after being shot with .22 birdshot and not die until later. As for the taste, cook some up and let us know :biggrin2: :hungry: :tongue:

It's plenty accurate and lethal for pigeons and followup shots are a breeze if necessary.

I have had one of these for years and it runs fine year after year despite near total neglect.

I also have a Beeman P1 Magnum in .20 (*bragging*) The Beeman's quite a bit better but it costs 6 times as much. I doubt it's 6 times better.

Thanks for the clarification. I was about to shoot them with my .22 cal this morning. Then i thought uuuuhhhhh, someone in the neighborhood is gonna dial 911. LOL

Id go to any sporting goods store, IMO any BB gun will work, and as far as eating pigeons, yes you can.

nope,,, I had one when I was a kid, my grandmother actually shot it with a
.38 and fried it up like a chicken, and from what I remember, it did taste like chicken, lol
