What is a good grease gun?

I am not a mechanic but want to get into good car care habits and hope to lube the chassis myself.

QUESTION: What is a good grease gun to be able to fit on to all the zerks and make the angle. I haven't tried yet on this toyota but had bad luck on my wife's 06 jeep wrangler. I bought a grease gun and went under with good intentions but it could not bend to properly fit on to the zerks under there so I took it back.

90 V6 M/T 4Runner.
I bought it new in 90.
Gave to my Dad in 96.
I went overseas in the military 96-07.
Dad was 81 & passed away July 07.
The 4runner is mine again.

You definitely want one with a rubber hose rather than a metal tube.

You also need to spend a little money on it. I got what seems to be a nice pistol-grip, full-size unit with a hose from Advance Auto Parts. The tip was very cheap though, and it was nearly impossible to get the tip onto the zerk. If it did go on, it was just as hard to pull off! I later went to Farm and Fleet and bought a better tip, and now it's easier to use.

All above are correct. Also, get one with handle grip, the one you can operate with one hand.

grease gun is on order

I ordered an Lincoln Industrial 1133 16 Ounce 2 Way Loading Lever Action Grease Gun with 18-Inch Whip.
It has the pistol grip.

It was $37 on amazon.com but I got it for free with a buy 4 items for the price of 3 special...

Also, once it arrives I will see if a 360 degree swivel that I have seen at autozone will fit it, just for added flexibility.

I already bought some pink mobil 1 synthetic grease.

I am standing by to start DIY for all those zerks.

I have to make sure the mobil 1 is also good for my wife's 06 jeep wrangler 4wd.
