what is going on!!

so about a month ago i ordered some 16x8 xd rims from light line of la (local 4x4 shop) i called them today and asked when my rims might come in because it had already been a month. they said it could take as long as a couple of more months because they are still on back order. Light Line says aluminum is scarce right now wich is causing the long wait or something.........is that the truth ? what is goin on!!!
i cant wait much longer

That sounds a bit fishy. Why didn't they tell you they were back ordered when you ordered them?

Over three months to wait is a long time.

why not call some other shops (local or non), and even the manufacturer and inquire about the time needed to get put the wheels in your hand. Maybe they are on that long of a back order, but that's the best way to find out.
