What is my 4runner worth?

I know kbb would say something like $2-3k or worse but we all know that with a vehicle like this i am not going to carmax to trade it in lol. Id be looking for the right buyer, a 3rd gen 4runner fan or an off-roadie. Having said that i want to be realistic with what to expect. This is just a feeler thread for me to get an idea, i dont actually want to sell it yet.

1996 4runner 4wd limited, second owner(first was dad)
new paint-not perfect but very nice
powdercoated wheels
fronts seats reupholstered
swapped center console and ebrake to 99 with cupholders
the interior is a 9 out of 10 considering the trucks age
kandn intake
waag grille guard
separated trans cooler
speedo and trans calibrated for the 35's
HID's with custom projectors(100hrs invested lol)
35" tires about 15-20k miles left
tint all around
Sonoran Steel lift roughly 3"fr and 4"rear, 1.5 body lift with poly bushings
many replaced parts like steering rack, bushings, etc

I would give the truck a 9 out of 10 on the outside. Im sure there is so much im forgetting. It runs flawlessly and the a/c works great. It has 302k miles on the original engine. 16mpg.

What do you guys think it would bring from a private party?

beautiful 4runner the only thing that hurts the price is the 300,000miles. thats allot even for a 4runner. i think its worth 4500 because its got good mods and it looks almost new.

Well, I ran KBB on it and it came up $5070 as good and $5470 as excellent. This was with adding the "oversized offroad tires" option, but without a CD player.

I am currently in the market for a third gen as a daily driver, and I have been inspecting many 3rd gens.

I would value your rig in the range of ($5000-9000), the biggest downfall is the 302K miles. You say you have replaced many things. These really factor into a decision. LBJ's, tie rods, control arms, rotors and pads, drums and shoes, sway-bar links, all bushings, timing belt, water pump, pulleys, serp belts, etc. They are all relatively simple things to replace, but the cost adds up.

Just my opinions, but somewhere in that range based on what has been replaced is a good place to start. Who knows with the right buyer. The engine will last forever, it is a toyota. The 302K just wears out the components that take the beating.

I would say that the value is between $3000 to $4000.

With no real modifications other then a $700 lift. Everything else is a cake decoration.

300k is what killing you. The diffs, suspension components, transmission, engine, ac and ac controls, window regulators, door hinges, power ant, power steering and anything else the rotates is going to be worn.

Plus, who ever buys it, will want to take it for a test drive and with the 35" tires that are 2/3 worn out, will make the engine feel slow and worn out.

It is not a Semi where there is a lot of highway miles but a daily driver that got enough use to wear out the seats and original finish.

Your not dealing with a classic here.

As stated above, the miles are really the only thing going against you. Here's your best option: When you're ready to sell (Not at the last minute, mind you,) post it up on every car sales website you can for whatever you WANT for it.. In my area, you could get 4k-6k for that, private party, and pretty quickly. I've seen rusted out 3rd gens, frame AND body, with 180k+ sell for over 6k around here. If someone out there thinks it's worth it, they'll come look at it. Show them receipts, let them test drive it. If it doesn't sell in 2-4 weeks, drop the price $500. Rinse and repeat.

If you hit a price that you're uncomfortable selling at, don't sell it.
