hey all, i have a question that i cant figure out.. Im trying to figure out the gear ratio on my 4th gen 2003 4runner sr5 it is automatic 4.7l v8.. im hearing some are 4.10 to 4.55? to even 4.88 I dont understand how it can be factory geared so low??? duallys and big trucks arent even geared that low.. so any help will be much appreciated.

You have 3.73 gears (or more specifically 3.727). The V6's used the 3.91's until they received the upgraded 5 spd tranny in MY05 and then went to 3.73.
What you probably hear about 4.10's - 4.55's is most people talking about upgrading their gearing to compensate for larger tires and added equipment.
