What is the best material to use for a sleeping platform??

i been thinking on building a sleeping platform and drawers for my Runner and i seen alot of people using plywood but is there anything else out there that is light weight as i will have to install and remove by myself when i carry bigger things in the cargo area?? Also where is a place i can get long sliders for the drawers?? i dont know if this is the right section if not please move.

1) You're in the wrong section. Seeing as how this has nothing to do with off roading, and has EVERYTHING to do with MODIFICATION, try your specific generation thread, or, the Off Topic section.

2) Stop "Bumping" every 24 hours or less. give it a little more time than what you're allowing.

3) SEARCH. The topic of sleeping platforms and all that shit has been covered time and time again on this forum. If you can't find anything using the forum "Search" function, go to Google and type in "Sleeping Platform-T4R.org". Just like that. If you still can't find anything, then be creative and come up with something that you think would be best.

Plywood is usually the answer you will receive based on cost vs strength vs weight. I went MDF on my set up because I have worked with it enough before that I feel I know its properties well. I wasn't confident that plywood would do what I needed, and didn't have time to re-do if it didn't work.

I can't help on the drawers since I went a completely different way
