What is the warmest blanket I can buy?

Well, a medium to large dog. A chihuahua isn't going to do much for the average sized person.

A rescue Greyhound. They run a bit warmer than other dogs, plus they are great snugglers. Have you looked at Selk bags? We use them for winter excursions all the time- easy to move in and very warm.

There's nothing better than a great quality sleeping bag. Remember to sleep in your underwear & not with your clothes on. They make you sweat & then you get colder. I have a 0* & a 25* bag. I like the 25* better because I sweat less.

I bare ass it in my sleeping bag. A lot of people don't understand how that works. First thing is the base, you have to have a barrier underneath the bag. I use a Thermarest.
