What is this beep? 2006 Sport E.

When braking, right before I come to a stop, sometimes I hear a faint beep coming from under the dash/steering wheel area. I did a search, but didn't see any reference to what I am hearing.

Anyone hear the same thing, or are the voices coming back in my head?:crazy:

How hard are you braking? Do you have any lights on the dash or any pulsation in the brake pedal? It could be the ABS/VSC system kicking in.

not braking hard, just normal braking.

But are you getting any lights or brake pedal pulsation? The ABS/VSC system might be kicking in (I have this happen on my rig on hard turns.) The reason I'm asking is that if it is the ABS/VSC system engaging when its not supposed to, a Zero Point Calibration should fix that no problem.

So say I'm turning hard right & my foot is on brake & it's a curb or gutter & you get the pulse or beeping that's not supposed to be happening ? Had it happen cpl times & wasn't quite sure if because my foot was still riding brake (2 ft driver) what was going on ?

That can happen, on my lifted 4Runner running 33's (keep in mind I have all-time 4WD also) taking sharp turns kicks the VSC in where it feels like its going to break loose. It was even more sensitive before I did a zero point calibration.
