What is this box?

I just bought a 95 4runner and the other day i noticed a button switch when i was looking at the fuses. So I took the driver side kick panel off a there was a on/off toggle switch, a button switch, four relays, some extra fuses and an antenna all connected to the box and wires spliced into the ignition.The box has hornet model 851T on the front and something about a satellite harness and main harness on the back. its made by directed electronics. I'm thinking it was some kind of satellite radio and alarm system.

Its a Hornet alarm system by DEI

That litle box on your windshield is an anntenna extender so that your alarm range for your transmitter is extended

It is also a remote start system. This is back when remote start required the installer to wire up several relays instead of being able to plug into one box.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to find a transmitter for it. If I can't find one i'll just take it out.
