What is this connection for

I was disassembling my console area in my 4runner for a heavy duty cleaning of parts and getting all the dust out of the crevices from 67000 miles of use. I came across this connection wire and have no idea what it is used for. I do have the ashtray option so i have a cigarette lighter and another 12V plug already connected, so it wouldnt be to one of these.

Can someone help me out and tell me what i am looking for

It is Part A in the photo, Part B connects to my ashtray unit.

I believe that will connect to some of the buttons that are not on your mid consule...like maybe heated seats or the rear air suspension.

i always figured it was for DAC since I have a 2WD it's not connected to anything. Could be wrong but I thought the heated seats were only an option on the limited? Seeing as I have an SR5 that would mean it's probably not heated seats. I base this information of of nothing though so someone else can pitch in...

Good point, that button is also in the lower consule so that could be it.

I don't think it is for heated seats, as there would be two harnesses (one for passenger seat and one for driver seat).

Also what I was thinking. Anyone with a 4WD wanna chime in? Well, anyone with a 4WD that has taken this particular section of their truck apart want to chime in?

That connector: I see it only has 2 wires, does it have room for 4? If not, are the two offset at a 90 degree angle or are they in line?

The wire colors look like its for the 115 volt power outlet in the center console box, but that connector should have 4 connections available (but not nessesarily used).

Studying for finals right now but I'll take a look later today if the OP doesn't reply first. I've wondered what this is for some time now. The only reason I think it may not be for the DAC is because if that were the case, we 2WD's would also have some sort of loose connection for the t-case switch under the rear window switch wouldn't we? I don't recall seeing one in my truck...

I have a sport so it's not even wire for heated seats. The colors of the wires says its the plug for the 115 v outlet. If you do NOT have that option installed that's my guess.

It's not the 115v power point. And if the accessory input you refer to is the AUX wire that i plug my ipod into then it's not that either. Maybe the JBL system has another accessory plug that i don't know of though?
