What is this part?

Can someone identify this part? Its leaking coolant out the bottom of it.

I dont know your motor but its in the right place to be the valve that controls coolant flow to your heater core. does it have a cable that disappears into the fire wall?

I just checked my '95. Banks is correct.

Yeah thats the one. Cable going to it connects directly to the heater controls inside the cabin.

What are they worth to replace? its leaking out the bottom of the valve. maybe I can just plug it up with something?

dunno, mines just by-passed for the summer. Only use it in the winter. salvage yard? Ive got a wrecked 96 (in Missouri) if you need the part.

Not sure if there the same on the 96 to the 94. Different engines, but they might use the same part.

Do you know what its actually called? So I can price one from NAPA?
