what is this wire for?

im guessing this is for the fog lights i just want to make sure with you guys. i got the car with no fog lights and i want to get some

also do you think its still good enough to use?

Looks like the fog light harness to me. It hangs down on my truck like that to. Nice that you have the hook up. They should just plug in and you can use the switch in the truck.

Not going to climb under mine to look but if you have one on each side its probably fog lights. There is also a temperature probe wire on one side if you don;t have a Limited.

and i reaLLY dont want to get aftermarket fog light cause i heard they crap..anyone know of any good one

Well i'll tell you this... If you want to get very good lights.. then you might want to go wit PIAA - there are other brands but i like them the best. HELLA i think is another brand... I know with PIAAS you will want to use THEIR wiring harness. I do not know if HELLA has one.
if it were me I would use th PIAA harness and just tie the factory harness out of the way..I would not use the factory harness with ANY LAMPS EXCEPT for a factory ONES.
