What is this?

Is this line a brake line? I ask because when my truck is sitting level, it has about inch of slack, but with little droop, that slack gets taken up easily. Can I just get a small piece of aluminum and extend the bracket that attaches to my rear diff?

after adding my 9 wraps on there i just unbolted the bracket and i havent had a problem with it...

did you have a lot of slack with your 891s? I suppose I'll just unbolt it until I can fab up a longer bracket.

umm im not sure... i didnt pay too much attention to it. Only noticed it when i had the 9 wraps put on by a friend with a shop. He told me it seemed to be a tight fit so we jsut left the bracket off.

it is the parking brake cable bracket

this has been known to work for raising it

nope. the brake line is right on top of the diff in the middle of the axle

Pb, When you asked me I thought you were talking about the brake line (the one with the bracket on top of the diff. My ebrake cable is a little tight, but I've never had any issues with it. The bracket that steeze linked to will work good for you if it's really tight.
