What key comes with a 2014 Trail Premium?

I only got one key with my used 2014 TEP. Below is what it looks like. My understanding is that 2014 TEP has keyless entry. Will this key work for keyless entry? I am asking because my keyless entry does not seem to be working. The alarm arm/disarm works fine. So I am not sure if I just need a different key (a Smart Key) or if maybe I need to change a setting or replace a battery:

First off please resize that picture, it's ridiculously huge.

Second that is the standard key for a 5th gen 4Runner. It's an "All In One" unit and the keyless entry portion is built into the key.

That being said I'm not quite understanding your issue? Alarm Arm/Disarm is tied to "Lock/Unlock" so if you're Locking/Unlocking the doors then Keyless Entry is functioning as designed.

So I was thinking that the keyless on the TEP is where you can just touch the door to enter (with key in pocket) and touch to lock. Is that not something that works on the Trail Premium? I was thinking when it said "In-key remote keyless entry system" that it worked with the touch of the handle.

i think he thinks he has the keyless entry like on a limited. where you just touch the door and it unlocks.

Key fob is all you have. Touching the handle to lock/unlock is only on the Limited trim level for 5th generation.

Keyless-Entry means you don't need to put the key into the door to unlock it, you can used unlock/lock on the fob. It's been like that for as long as Toyota has been doing keyless entry.

What you're talking about is Smart Key/Smart Entry functionality, which only the Limiteds have.
