What length ARB awning?

Putting my xmas list together for this year and was thinking about adding an ARB (or Eezi-Awn) awning.

They all seem to come out about 2 meters, but the main question is the length (along the truck)

Per the ARB website:
ARB AWNING 2000 (ARB3111A) Size: 78.74" (2000mm) wide
ARB AWNING 2500 (ARB3108A) Size: Size: 78.74" (2000mm) wide

So what is the difference? either the ARB website has incorrect info on one, or I'm just not getting it. I don't want mine to stick outside of the Gobi Stealth rack. Anyone who owns one any suggestions?

The website is incorrect. The 2500 is 2500mm wide.

Anyone have a picture similar to Titanpat57 but for the 2000 ?

Thanks guys!

I have the 2500 specifically because it sticks out farther than the GOBI. I can open my front door without any rain falling on me. The 2000 mm leaves a little gap at the a pillar when opening the front door.

No picture... but I've referenced Titanpat's picture in the past when I had the same question.

2000 / 2500 = 4/5 or 80%

So from eyeballing the picture, given the same mounting position relative to the back of the truck, the awning should end around the midway point of the front passenger window. Not a picture, but if no one is able to produce one, hopefully that helps.

It's obviously not extended, but it shows you the width of the awning vs length of the truck:

Also look at the Ironman Awning which has a built in LED light.....

SWEET.. thanks for the suggestion Dave!. price is about the same, reviews are about the same... I'm digging the LEDS.

List to be updated when I get home tonight :)

Thanks for the reference limamike...

Its the one I went with after reading the reviews. Seems as well built as ARB, about the same price, LED and the cover is black which matches me truck.

Either way you can't go wrong whichever way you decide.

Anyone have experience w/ awning and tent annex?

Hey guys, any of you have an awning with a tent annex? What's your preferred brand and why? Curious what your likes and dislikes are. From my research, the ARB annex is the most complete, best quality and simplest to deploy.

I'm thinking about the 2500 awning with tent/annex. Anyone know if ARB is planning to release a new line or generation anytime soon? These are starting to age and I have to believe the product will evolve soon.

Here's what I'm considering:
ARB Awning 2500 (814101)
ARB TOURING AWNING ROOM WITH FLOOR 2500 (813104)

I only wish ARB would make the awning cover in black since I'm running a black theme with my truck. I e-mailed them and they said no plans to go black.

Cytronus I have the 2500 with enclosure. I like it even more than I thought I would. Used it for camping just a couple weekends ago. Likes: Room is especially easy to set up. Very quick to deploy, and stays secure in windy conditions with minimal tie-down/staking effort. Room for 2 extra large cots with space left over for a very comfortable lane in between. No real dislikes, but the awning is a bit awkward to set up by yourself. Doing it alone in the wind can be frustrating. If you want to deploy the awning by itself in a parking lot or area where stakes won't work, you'll need weights to for securing the legs. For all the cash we spend for extra toys on these things, the awning/enclosure are a very good value if you will actually use them.

Why kind of annex? A ground tent annex or a roof top tent annex?
