What light is this?

What light is this? Must be the third brake light, but it's clear. What's the deal?

According to the RM (tks b2 Nashman), it's a center stop light. I took mine apart awhile back, and there's no bulb in it. ???

I forgot to figure it out after that.

It's a working stop light. They are red LEDs--so it looks like we still have some rear LED brake lights:banana:.

Interesting study there. I have added them to a couple of my classic cars because I think they do help. The eye is quicker to see a new light turning on than a light getting brighter. At night with running lights on they are a big help. I call them the third brake light.
