Hi all,
I apologize, I've been looking and looking at dash recover kits and caps (I know there's a thread on dashcaps, but shipping is ridiculous to where I live so I don't want to order one. Anyway, I've been looking but can't find the answer, so does anyone know what the material our dashpads are made of?
It sees very different from leather or vinyl, especially since it has to "explode" when the airbag comes out (vs. an airbag cover that's already "cut out"). Anyway, I'd like to have a go at "reuphostering" my dash, but I can't even figure out what to order and I especially don't want to create a potential grenade in my dashboard if I chose the cover material wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
