What model of 3rd gen is this? Any info on it?

Hey guys, I'm constantly scouring craigslist for 4runners just in case I find anything interesting and I've run across a few of these. The few I've seen have been wrecked but it's kind of an interesting model. I got two pictures of two currently for sale. All I've seen like this have been thundercloud. They have different wheels than the standard base models and painted bumpers rather than black or chrome but lack the flares and cladding of a limited and sport hood of the sport. They also have the base model seats. Any info on these? Some kind of special edition? Just curious! Thanks!

Not sure about the wheels. But they look like a 2002 base model to me.

Oh that truck has the extremely rare chrome package. Door handles, mirrors and tail lights are all bespoke to that package. Those wheels are also bespoke, and end up being some of the rarest factory Toyota wheels.

Coincidentally, right after you posted this thread, I saw my first one in person. It was whatever the ruby red color is. I even bothered to take a picture, which isn't something I do often.

Haa, I think I saw that exact one last time I was in Seattle. Definitely saw a Stellar Blue one. The only other one I've seen is a Thundercloud one in Salem 3 or 4 times.
