What Next...

About 6 months ago I picked up a '97 limited with 175k on it (auto with locker).

I go it from a coastal town up here in Ak... no rust through at all but under carriage bolts need a good shot of PB Blaster before I start any project.

I have, replaced brakes (rotors, pads, shoes), tie rod, alignment, all fluids (to include diff and axels), rear springs and shocks (stock for now) and new tires.

Projects in the next month... timing belt and everything that goes with that project.

Runs great, shifts great but my milage is 16/17mpg. Any thoughts on what else I need to do to get the milage up and be ready for the snow we'll be getting in the next few weeks.

Thats right in line with what it should be getting...if not better.

I'd go ahead and replace the plugs, maybe the coil wires, and the air filter if needed. That may give you another 1-2 mpg, ...., but if you are getting 16-17, you are about where it should be.
