What oil do i use?

I have a 96 4Runner and need to get some oil for it. the previous owner used synthetic oil but what grade oil do i put in it?

Look in the owner's manual for the model you have. Also it should be maked on the filler cap. I'll GUESS, 5w-30.

Use Mobil-1 synthetic, preferably 5w-30. Of course, with synthetic being viscous as it is, you could easily get away with 10w-30 as well if you live in a hotter climate.

That stuff is awesome and well worth the $4 per quart you will pay for it.

If it is the 3.4 V6 it uses 5w-30. To get better start-up flow, I use 0w-30
