What part is this?

I found this part inside where the radio goes. It was connected to the stock radio. It looks like a amp. I dont think I need it for my new radio.

Yep, that's the stock amp. Not sure if every model has them (I don't think mine did, but I'm not sure).

I don't think every model had the amp. Your new head unit will not need that amp.

hey man sell that thing on ebay!! it will sell so fast. i tried selling my stock head unit and everyone wanted the amp because i beleive you can use it with older gens. people want the new stereo's however the conections are different but! the amp is the same and someone can say put an 01 stock head unit into a 98 runner with that amp. (this is what the stero man said anyway)
