What phobias do you have?

Hey guys, I thought it might be fun to talk about what phobias y'all have, if any...

I, for one, have an extreme phobia of clowns...when I was VERY young, my mom and grandma made me sit and watch "The it", and I think that's why they scare me so much...I just don't trust them, theyre all evil and creepy...

I can do heights, water, ANYTHING, but clowns...

My room mate has the same phobia about mayonnaise...mine is product dates.

If the milk carton in my fridge says 2/13/08, it's going down the drain. My co-workers try and argue with me that the date on the milk carton is the "sell by date" but I say hogwash!

It's the same for everything else with a use by or best if used by date.
 
Using public toilets for #2. The thought of it just disgusts me. I have learned two important things:

1. Make sure there is toilet paper BEFORE you sit your @ss down and commit to launch no matter how much pain you're in. There is nothing more frustrating than finding out you're out of TP when you need it. If not, your creative skills will be put to the test.

2. Use those paper liners (or as I would call them - @ss gaskets) very liberally. If not, your @ss is pretty much kissing everyone else's @ss.

I also have this phobia of having to go on long trips. So I make sure my tubes are empty before I set out. One time I was coming from Todai's all you can eat seafood and an hour later my stomach was feeling really funky. We were on the freeway and at least 15 minutes away from my wife's parent's house. She had to take over driving because I had to concentrate on clenching my butt sphincter for the duration. I was just damn near tempted to just go on the side of the road. Damn, never again. Sorry folks, TMI.

Heights. But it's weird; sometimes I'm fine in open air high places, and sometimes being inside a room and looking down 3 stories will get to me. Sometimes I even start getting butterflies just looking at a picture of someone else in a place I'd never go. ...like that pic of a guy sitting out on the edge of a pointy ledge, taken from a vantage point above him that shows thousands of feet below.

I guess it's the power of imagining myself where they are... :bugeye:

I could see how you could scare yourself :p :D I KID, I KID! lol

My phobia is clausterphobia, fear of enclosed spaces. It's not something that freezes me in fear, but I get real nervous, BP goes up and I start to sweat if I'm in tight spaces for too long. Let me say I really hate packed elevators...

I do have a wierd fear that everyone laughs at when I tell them. There is something about that Snuggles bear that freaks me out. I don't know what it is, but I think it's out to get me or something.
 
people think my phobia of clowns is hilarious...they like to send evil clown pics and videos to my cell phone...not cool

i went to universal studios for halloween, we went through all the mazes, no problem, but we got to one with lots of clowns, and my friends say that i looked like i was about to **** my pants...I didnt even wanna go through that part, but they made me, and it was NOT funny...

i am also a little claustrophobic, I just hate not being able to move...ive wrestled before, and when I got into a hold where I couldn't move, my body just kinda freaks out, and I get this strength that I didn't know I had, and the guy gets thrown off...every time pretty much

Snakes !! Even the little one's like grass snakes.

I see some horrific things in my life on a pretty regular basis and it doesn't bother me , but let me see a grass snake in the back 40 of my property and I run like a school girl.

You'd hate sitting down to a meal at my house; there's a 6' Columbian Red tail Boa within 5 feet of the table.
 
Spiders give me the willies. I didn't think I was claustrophobic until Army basic training where they made us crawl into a piece of culvert pipe running through a small hill that you could barely squeeze into 10 at a time and then hold it in there for three minutes. I was about in the middle of the group I was in and I thought we were just going to crawl through so when we stopped moving I thought who's the idiot who stopped. Three minutes later I thought I was going to die. I couldn't breathe and was in total panic. I will never forget it and hope I never have to repeat it!

I once got into an argument with a guy who was complaining about DUI checkpoints. I told him he had a bad case of Astynomiaphobia. He actually got quite offended when I defined it for him....
