What rivers are good for kayaking in CO

I am in the early stages of planning a summer trip to Colorado. The basic plan is to kayak over a period of a few days and camp alongside the river. 2 out of 3 of us are fairly experienced the other one of my friends has limited kayaking experience. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledgeable information on good locations/rivers etc. Also any misc thoughts. Could use some help with the beginning stages of planning.

The Arkansas River. Town of Salida is home base to lots of rafting companies and kayakers

Gore Canyon is beautiful. Ive never done it. I hear its kind of advanced, but worth looking into... there are festivals and river side music venues close by as well.
