Doing the rear axle seals on a friends 4Runner. Having a shop do pressing of the bearings and that part, but of course we are going to pull the seal out of the housing. What seal puller does everyone find works well? Thinking of ordering the Lisle 56750. No I dont want to use a screwdriver and hammer.
What seal puller do you prefer?

I use the thing you don't want to use. Works great. If your scared wrap it in electrical tape
I have used this method for years, and yes it works. I just want to finally get a real seal puller. I have also used the install method of tap around the seal slowly and evenly to install it, but finally just ordered a seal installer kit. I do enough of these that its worth it.

A seal puller is not exactly a precision instrument. I use the Harbor Freight puller (when I don't just use a screwdriver
