What shocks and struts?

So i lifted the truck a year ago, and I put the 32's on 6 months ago.

I did a little bit of trimming in the wheel wells, but not much.

For the last 6 months it only rubbed, a very little bit, and that was if I was at full lock, and hit a major bump while turning.

Well just recently, It has started to rub all the time. not much, bit often. And moslty on the front drivers side.

I wonder if this is becasue of settling or a bad shock/strut.

Anyways, my truck has 90k miles on it, and I am wondering if I should change out the shock/struts to something more firmer/aftermarket.

I don't off road, but I am on construction sites all day.

Are they the problem, do i change them, if so fo which ones?

I still have the factory ones in, with a cornfed lift.

Thanks in advance!

If your starting to rub due to spring sag, then just new shocks won't fix the problem. One option would be to replace the stock suspension and Cornfed lift combo with replacement OME springs and shocks. I run the OME suspension with 32's. It's about a 3" lift and they have 3 different spring rates to give you the ride you want.

Since you don't off road except for construction work sites, you can probably go with the softer spring rates. The guys at Slee Offroad are great and can help recomend the right set up for your use. I run the heavy springs because I have added weight of a winch bumper. I've been very happy with the suspension both on the street and off road.

There's my 2 cents. :biggrin2:
