What should gas mileage be?

On a well maintained 1996, what should be the gas mileage on 2H and 4H ?
What was it meant to be?

With 33's I can get 18-22 hwy and 12-15 city. In 4 low with tires at 18 psi I get around 5-6 mpg. Do a quick gas mileage search and you will find tons of info.

I just did a full tank highway trip with very little city/offroad driving and got 19mpg on my 1996, 33's and 260k miles. Not bad really. But city is not great. Like stated, 12-14mpg is what i get city.

The 96 was rated pretty low, around 15 city, 18 highway for the v6 but in 97 the ratings jumped too 19 city 23 highway.

Depends on a lot of factors, but reasonably should expect 12-14 city and anywhere from 17-21 Highway.

I average 19.6 mixed driving, with a significant portion being hwy miles.

My '97 was rated by Toyota at 15 city, 19 highway.

Driving in 4wd in below 0° F temps, I can easily get below 10 MPG. Driving on the highway at summertime temps, I can get better than the highway MPG rating.
