Looks like mine...

Well everyone will think i'm gay for saying this but I think these are cool if your on a tight budget:

also the clear corners and tails will look great (I just ordered mine)

If you don't already have the little loover things that go over your side windows those are great for when it's raining so your windows dont get foggy, I am painting mine the same colour as my body or perhaps brass to match my trim.

The HID conversion kits are nice also, I got mine for $96.00, but in projector lights they have mega glare (if you care, persornally I don't)

maybe an intake kit would be cool but you can make one basically by doing the ISR, elbow, and deckplate mods with a high flow filter (i have the true flow it's great)

lift it 3 inches for like 180, then get some rims and tires, its way better looking, then when you see some trails you can do them and have fun.

Always save the radio for last, at least in my opinion. You should have a 6 disc changer since you have the Ltd. right?

Brushguards/tail light covers/clear corners = worthless. It's like the huge coffee can exhausts on Civics.

Either get lift, tires, or a proper front end protection:

i would lift it but my parents will not let me, and since mine is only 2 wheel drive i don't see a point in lifiting it and putting the arb type bumper because it will never really be used properly.

I was just sitting here wondering why Toyota would even make a 2wd 4 runner... Does it get better gas mileage? is there something I'm missing with 2wd? I just don't understand,

Aircraft landing lights are always fun to put on and they are cheap. I have 4 on the front of my guard plus a few extra and they are great for looking down the road. I also like the fact that they are sealed and if the get broke by a rock or someting your maybe out $15. I have had them for years and love them. I think each one has about 110,000 candle power for each one. You can get them at almost any autoparts store.

Even Jeeps come in 2WD. Since we are both in snow states, it makes sense for us to have 4WD. Others in Texas, AZ, So Cal, etc. never ever see snow, nor do 90% of the drivers ever see anything other than smooth pavement. The 2WD's were made to cater to those people. They do get better gas mileage, less maintenance and are cheaper, so that's why people get them.

But as for me, even if I lived down South, I'd never get a 2WD SUV/Truck.

Mods to come:
- Louis vitton leather seats
- All chrome dipped brass - polished then clearcoated
- 22" Rims maybe spinners c\ tires
- Custom tuned exhaust
- Westin brush guard (brass)

Sounds like you want an Escalade instead of a 4Runner...
It's Louis Vuitton (missing the "u" )

Yeah, you're right. Those chrome hubcaps are So Gay

Lol chrome hubcaps?? I'm pretty sure he's talkin about 22"s, not the 15 inch chrome hubcaps from adavanced auto parts, there is a difference.

well im not sure now if i should get a brush guards or yakima roof rack

or if i should get taillight guards or altezza's

This would all depend on which would be more usable? how often would you use the roof rack? what would you use it for? Are you going solely for looks? or for functionality. I am a 2wd as well, so I am aiming more towards looks, and engine mods. a lift and big wheels and tires would not help us considering its hard to go off orad with the 2wd, it would only slow us down. What color is your runner? I am a fan of the smoked out head and tail lights.

yea thats why i dont really wanna lift mine. i am going for more of looks, but with some function. w/ a roof rack i could always use it for some things. brush guard because i have always like them as well as my friends and it would be a nice way to hold lights sometime.

here is my 4runner.
